The skittles are each 23 cm high and have a clear varnish to protect and highlight the natural features of the timber. The king pin has a red painted top and the skittle balls are painted black in the traditional way.
Players score by rolling each of the three balls to knock as many of the pins down as they can. This set allows you to create your own 10-pin bowling alley or play the old nine-pin variation where points are only scored if the king pin has fallen.
This is seriously great value for a quality set of good sized skittles. Similar sets sell elsewhere for much more and often do not have the tenth pin.
